Features

What You Can Do with Luna

Here is a breakdown of everything Luna can help you with, along with examples of how to ask.

Plan your trip

Start by telling Luna your destination, dates, and travel style. She will generate a complete itinerary organised by day, with activities slotted into morning, afternoon, evening, and night.

The more you share, the more personal your trip

Luna builds your itinerary based on what you tell her. A simple '5 days in Tokyo' will give you a solid starting plan. But tell her who you are travelling with, what you enjoy, how you like to travel, and she will craft something that genuinely feels like yours. Mention your budget, your favourite cuisines, whether you prefer walking or taxis, if you need kid-friendly options, or if you want early mornings or late nights. Every detail helps Luna shape a trip that matches the way you actually like to travel.

  • Choose your pace: relaxed, standard, or adventure
  • Set preferences like family-friendly, romantic, budget, or luxury
  • Include specific interests such as food, culture, nature, or nightlife
  • Mention who you are travelling with: solo, couple, family, friends
  • Share dietary preferences, mobility needs, or anything that matters to you

Edit your itinerary

Your plan is never locked in. Ask Luna to change anything at any time. She can add new activities, remove ones you do not want, or swap something for a better fit.

  • Add something new to a specific day and time slot
  • Remove an activity you are not interested in
  • Swap one activity for another that suits you better
  • Replace a whole section with a different vibe

Modify your day structure

Want a slower morning? A free evening? Luna can reshape how your day flows. She adjusts the pace and structure so it matches the kind of day you actually want to have.

  • Make a busy day more relaxed, or a quiet day more active
  • Free up a specific time slot for rest or your own plans
  • Ask Luna to rearrange activities within a day for a better flow

Organise trip phases

For longer trips, your itinerary is grouped into phases. For example, a 14-day Japan trip might have phases like “Tokyo,” “Kyoto,” and “Osaka.” You can rename, split, merge, or reorder these phases to match how you want your trip to flow. You can do this directly in the itinerary or by asking Luna.

  • Rename a phase to reflect your own plan
  • Split a long phase into two shorter ones
  • Merge phases that feel better combined
  • Reorder phases to change the flow of your trip

Tip

You can also edit phase names and reorder them directly in the itinerary interface without chatting with Luna. Both ways work.

Explore more options

Not sure what to do next? Ask Luna for alternatives or new ideas. She can suggest places nearby, hidden gems, or completely different options for a specific time slot.

  • Ask for alternatives to any activity in your plan
  • Discover off-the-beaten-path spots and local favourites
  • Get ideas based on your interests: art, nature, food, adventure

Curious about a place in your itinerary? Ask Luna to tell you more. She can explain what a place is, why it is recommended, what to expect, and whether it is worth your time.

Communication

How to Talk to Luna

There are no special commands or syntax. Just talk to Luna the way you would talk to a friend who happens to be an excellent travel planner.

1

Use natural language

Write in your own words. Full sentences, casual phrases, or quick requests all work.

2

Be specific when you can

The more detail you give, the better Luna can match your expectations.

3

Ask follow-up questions

Luna remembers the conversation. Build on what she suggests with follow-ups.

Example conversation

You:Can you make Day 4 more chill? I will be tired from hiking.
Luna:Got it! I have swapped the packed Shibuya itinerary for a slower cafe-and-garden day. Take a look.

You:Perfect, but add a nice dinner spot for that evening.
Luna:Done! I have added a highly-rated yakitori restaurant in the area.

Pro Tips

Tips for Best Results

Here are a few things to keep in mind to get the most out of Luna.

  1. 1Start broad, then refine. Let Luna generate a full plan first. Then go through it day by day and ask for adjustments. This iterative approach produces the best results.
  2. 2Tell Luna your preferences early. Travel style, pace, dietary needs, interests, and who you are travelling with all help Luna tailor the plan from the start.
  3. 3Do not hesitate to ask for changes. There is no limit to how many times you can modify your itinerary. Luna is built for exactly this kind of back-and-forth.
  4. 4Be specific when it matters. Saying "Add something fun" is fine, but "Add a rooftop bar with a view near Shibuya" gives Luna much more to work with.
  5. 5Use Luna throughout your planning. She is not a one-time generator. Come back to refine, ask questions, or explore alternatives whenever inspiration strikes.
  6. 6Tell Luna which day. When adding or changing an activity, mention the specific day. This helps Luna place it in exactly the right spot.
